Abstract
Background
Up to now, no research reports have investigated psychological punishment of adult Latina ladies by their moms despite proof that psychological abuse that is maternal notably play a role in the emotional punishment skilled by Latina ladies in their life time.
Practices
Cross-sectional information including 316 females had been analyzed making use of mediation and logistic regression.
Outcomes
Overall, 7.1% of moms and 24 4adam.1% of daughters abused drugs; and, 19.5% of daughters had been emotionally mistreated by their moms. Mom’s accessory to her child mediated the relationship between mom’s drug use and emotionally abusing her adult child (Indirect impact: 0.863).
